I just need 4 more long, round and empty items!

I wonder what game I am going to create at home...

I'll give you just one little hint... I also need a small ball to play with!

Hopefully soon I'll be able to share it with you!! ๐Ÿคž

Patterns at Home!

A pattern is a repeating sequence.

Do you remember when we explored patterns using our blocks at school?
We made a pattern like this...
orange, blue, green, orange, blue, green, orange, blue, green

I wonder what would come next if we continued our pattern?

Today I used lots of things around the house to make some patterns.
Can you retell mine?
I wonder what would come next in my patterns...

Challenge pattern:
Can you describe this pattern?
What could come next?
**there could be more than one answer๐Ÿ˜‹**

Have a go at making some patterns at home!

I am looking forward to seeing them ๐Ÿ˜Š

I wonder why I added a 's' to the end of 'flat'...

Happy Drawing and Writing Reception!๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Purple flowers
  • Flowers altogether (Can you write this as a number sentence using '+' and '=' ?)
  • Clouds

  • Trees
  • Rocks
  • Legs are there altogether? (hint - one might be hiding!)

Share your answers with us at debeauvoirprimaryschool@gmail.com! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Super counting Ryaan!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well done for using '+' for your addition sentence to work out how many flowers there are altogether!

I wonder if you know or can research some information about the dinosaur that only has 2 legs...
Do you know what the dinosaur is called?

Number Formation Rhymes!

Use our rhymes to practise writing your numerals.

You could teach your family them too!

Can you challenge yourself and write your teen numbers too? - remember all of our 'teen' numbers start with a 1!

Maybe you'd like to try to write numbers beyond 20!

Numberblocks - Quiz time!

Click on the picture below to explore some Math addition and subtraction problems!

These number sentences use our special symbols + and -
Remember:
+ is adding more - the collection gets better
is taking away - the collection gets smaller
To help you find the answer, you could make some drawings, or use some materials at home like raisins, pasta, or even your counters from your Home Learning Packs!

For an example: using the number sentence on the picture, which number sentence equals 2?
I used some drawings to help me.

It's Time to Describe!

Today's Home Learning Task card is similar to an activity you can find this week on 'EasyPeasy'! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Reception, I know we have played this many times and you have been super great at describing what it feels like and/or smells like - now try it at home!

Can you guess what is inside my bag?
It is round, red and juicy!
It grows on trees and can come in different sizes.
I can make it into a delicious pie as well!
