Ten Frames

Ten frames are a great resource to help our children visualise and develop their number sense within the context of 10.

If you don't have yours from our 'Home Learning Pack', you could make your own using paper/cardboard. I used my handy empty cereal box again - cut out a rectangle and divided it in half, then made 5 columns and boooooom💥 I have my ten frame ready 😌

Do you have and use your special 'Home Learning Pack' at home? I do!

Inside there are lots of great resources, including pens, pencils, glue, scissors, ten frames, dice, counters, coloured and plain white paper, whiteboard pens, numicon and lots of great ideas as to what you could do with it!😃

I also added the Home Learning that we received the last week of school to my pack too - number and letter formation, snakes and ladders game, alphabet strip and our phonics mat!

Don't forget to use these resources to help you with your super learning superstars! 🌟

Singing Assembly

Hi all, Miss Rader here! 

Singing assembly is always one of the highlights of my week, and I am really missing our weekly sing-a-longs. This afternoon, I will be listening to some of our favourites and having a sing-song, perhaps you can join me. Maybe if you sing loud enough, I will be able to hear you. 

Remember, there is a difference between loud singing and shouting. Loud singing means that we can still hear the notes.... so try singing at mf (mezzo-forte) - medium loud or f (forte) - loud.

So below are some of our favourites - perhaps you can perform them for your parents/carers, show them some of the actions and moves and send us videos of you singing at debeauvoirprimaryschool@gmail.com - I can't wait to see them.
